embracing the power of silence: why it's golden in this hour

embracing the power of silence: why it's golden in this hour

Sometimes, we have to learn to be silent and analyze the people around us, assessing whether or not it is necessary to share our opinions or engage in conversation with them. Instead of constantly exerting energy, we need to determine if the effort we put into these interactions is worth what we gain from them. As I recently read, if we find ourselves talking just for the sake of talking, it may be time to stop. Of course, there are instances where we should help others or engage in genuine conversations, but we need to recognize when our participation in a dialogue is not beneficial to our emotional or mental well-being. These conversations may involve gossip or mainstream news, which are facets of reality that operate outside of us and do not help us in return.

I believe that our greatest power lies in our ability to discern when our voice is necessary, and when it is essential to speak on situations that require our attention or energy. When we provide our insight or feelings, we contribute something greater than what most people can. To build ourselves up and strengthen our awareness, we must cultivate a space for ourselves to be within our own minds and peace of mind. This requires experiencing moments of silence and strengthening our inner voice.

When we listen more and speak less, we may come to the realization that most of what people are saying or doing is not conducive to their well-being. It is not supporting their energy or frequency, nor is it helping them align with their purpose or passions.

Therefore, I advise taking a day or two to sit back and be silent. Allowing ourselves to get to know our inner voice better will only help strengthen it and make it clearer. This will enable us to quiet the noise in certain situations and scenarios, focusing on our inner voice instead. We will also be able to decide when it is best to take a step back and be silent.

This may seem like strange advice, given that communication is ideal in our society. However, I am not referring to necessary communication used to get our point across or meet specific needs and demands. I am referring to nonsensical chatter or unnecessary dialogues that are not beneficial to our well-being. If something is not helping us grow or develop mentally, spiritually, or emotionally, then we should question its purpose.

So, if you are facing this challenge, I urge you to consider all the noise around you from people in your environment as a sign to go within yourself and quiet your exterior, tuning in to your interior and inner voice.
