It's funny how the universe conspires to test us, especially when it comes to pursuing our passions. Lately, I've been experiencing this firsthand as I work towards building an empire of my own. My ultimate goal is to create a space where young women can engage in balanced dialogue and access resources that promote their mental, spiritual, emotional, and moral well-being.
Despite my passion and drive, distractions seem to constantly find their way into my life. I can't help but feel like the universe is trying to test my focus and dedication. For instance, when I recently went to the spa to work on my e-book, I saw a coworker and had to choose between engaging in idle chatter or continuing to work on my passion project. Although I enjoy her company and energy, I knew that if I allowed myself to be pulled away from my work, I would regret it later.
Similarly, when I'm in the middle of a task, my phone buzzes and notifications pour in, threatening to pull me away from my goals. In these moments, I often look up and acknowledge the energy being sent my way, knowing that the universe is testing me to see if I'm truly committed to my passions.
But despite the distractions, I remain determined to stay focused and continue building towards my dream. I know that achieving success and creating the empire I envision will require my full potential and dedication. It's not always easy, and sometimes it feels like society is designed to pull us away from our true selves and our goals. But I'm committed to taking intentional steps every day to stay focused on my passions and grow in my personal development.
Building an empire takes time and effort, and distractions - no matter how small - can be costly. But if we're serious about reaching our goals and living life on our own terms, we must remain vigilant and intentional in everything we do. So, I'll keep pushing forward, knowing that with focus and dedication, I'll create the empire I've always envisioned.
